PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING ANY INFORMATION

While we would like to hear from you, we cannot represent you until we know that doing so will not create a conflict of interest. Accordingly, please do not send us any confidential information about any matter until you receive written confirmation from us that we represent you in that matter. If you wish to discuss possible representation by our firm, particularly if the matter is time critical, the best way is to call one of our attorneys (rather than leaving an e-mail message). After you contact us, we will take you through our conflict-of-interest procedure and see that you are put in touch with the lawyer best suited to handle your matter. When you receive an engagement letter from that lawyer, you will be our client, and we may then exchange information freely.

Summer Associate Program

Our Summer Associate Program is designed to provide our summer associates with an opportunity to experience Forman Perry Watkins Krutz & Tardy's unique practice and personality. We get to know associates by working directly with them daily to capture their work, their attitude, their enthusiasm and their judgment personally. The Program is also our primary source for hiring entry-level associates.

While many firms limit summer associates to a particular part of the summer, our program lasts from mid-May to early August, giving law students flexibility in planning and allowing them the opportunity to experience as much as possible in a single summer. Our goal is to involve summer associates in many areas of practice and to expose them to the day-to-day aspects of legal practice. Summer associates typically have the opportunity to attend hearings and depositions, draft memoranda, motions and pleadings, as well as attend conference calls, mediations and trials. Each summer associate can count on his or her mentors to provide guidance and insight throughout the summer experience.

The Summer Associate Program includes various social events that allow our summer associates to get to know us and our families outside of the office. Our summer associates are invited to formal and informal dinners and happy hours, family night at a local sporting event, and our annual golf tournament is always a favorite.

While we typically conduct on-campus interviews of first and second year law students at certain regional law schools, we invite and consider resumes from candidates across the country. If you are interested in applying for the summer associate program, please send your resume, transcript, and cover letter to Lauren McFatter or Natalie Levanway.
